Both the JV and Varsity teams pulled out victories vs. Whitney Young on Thursday night. The JV game was very exciting with the Lady Falcons pulling off victories in the first two sets with scores of 27-25 and 25-20. They worked hard, played together and just fought. They were led in serving by freshman Roscoeria Boyd and Zaria Peeples. Erykah Brown had crucial 2 points to end the first game.

After the awesome JV game, it was time for the Varsity game. The Lady Falcons came out victorious in 3 sets with scores of 25-17, 25-20 and 25-15. Jeri Pollard had 12 service points on the day. Victoria Montgomery was everywhere to be found on the volleyball court. She dug everything and flew out of nowhere to keep plays alive. Kamilah Dotson and Destinee Thompson both had long serving runs in the last set as well. The Falcons look forward to carrying their momentum into 2 more games next week.
