The Falcons came away with a 68-64 win over Fuchs Mizrachi last night. The falcons played without starting shooting guard Derrick Veasley Jr. who was diagnosed with a stomach virus hours before the game. After leading by as many as 18 points, the falcons saw their lead disappear down to 1 after freshman forward Keandre Graves took a nasty fall to the floor two minutes into the 3rd quarter. The falcons found a way to persevere though behind a stellar scoring performance by sophomore guard Tyler Powell who had a game high 22points. Freshman forward Keandre Graves chipped in 20 points before being ruled out of the game with concussion like symptoms. Freshman point guard Alexander Heath also scored 14 points while adding in 8 assists. Some clutch free throw shooting down the stretch by Powell and Heath sealed the victory for the Falcons.

The Falcons can't celebrate for two long as they turn around and play Lakeridge Academy on Thursday at 7pm.
