The Lady Falcons started the new year on the road against Cuyahoga Heights to go for their fifth win in a row.
The Lady Falcon's first game of 2018 was tightly contested as they came out of the gate sluggish. They were only able to score 13 points in the first half as Cuyahoga Heights led by six with a score of 19 to 13.
Knowing they had to fight back from the minor deficit, the Lady Falcons put up 20 points in the third quarter to establish a 10 point lead. That scoring run helped them propel to the win with the score of 40 to 30.
Winners of five in a row and starting 2018 with a win, the Lady Falcons look to extend their winning streak to six as they face Lorain on the road this Saturday, January the 6th.
