On Wednesday January 4th, Your Lady Falcons traveled to Ashtabula , Ohio to battle Ashtabula St. John. Lutheran East Lady Falcons enter the contest with a 5-4 record. The Lady Falcons got off to a slow start trading basket for basket with St. John. The defensive intensity picked up the second quarter hold St. John to just 5 points. The Lady Falcons went into the half with a 31 to 24 advantage. The defense picked up were it left off before the half forcing turnovers leading to easy baskets which ballooned the lead out to 20 points. The Lady Falcons never looked backed. Jasmine Johnson and Alaya Henderson controlled the tempo of the game to our favor. Jasmine Johnson lead all scorers with 15 points and Alaya Henderson chipped in 14 in a very well-played team win. The Lady Falcons improved to 6-4 on the season.
