Lutheran East came into the New Year on a two game losing streak and were desperately searching for a win as they traveled 10 minutes down the road to Collinwood High School to take on the Railroaders. Both teams exchanged baskets for most of the game until Lutheran East went on a run mid way through the 3rd quarter and took a 16 point lead. The falcons never looked back and walked away with their first victory of 2017 with a final score of 83-76.
